At Avenue 9 Photography, we offer several location options for your portrait session. You can choose to have your session at our home studio, or we can come to your residence and set up a portable studio. If you prefer an outdoor location, we have many options we can recommend during your planning session. We'll work with you to pick a location that matches your vision for your portraits.

Printing your images is important because it allows you to enjoy and appreciate your photographs in a tangible way. Digital images can be easily lost or forgotten, but printed photographs can last for generations and become cherished family heirlooms. Additionally, printed photographs can be displayed in your home or office, adding a personal touch to your space and bringing joy to those who see them. At Avenue 9 Photography, we offer a variety of high-quality printing options to ensure that your images are displayed beautifully and stand the test of time.

We understand that choosing the right outfit for your family portraits can be overwhelming. However, we recommend coordinating your outfits to create a cohesive look. During your pre-planning session, we will discuss your vision and provide you with helpful tips on what to wear. We encourage you to wear something comfortable and reflective of your family's personality. Keep in mind that solid colors and simple patterns work best in photos. Don't be afraid to accessorize and add some personal touches to make your photos unique. Remember, the most important thing is to be yourself and have fun

Booking a session with us is easy! Simply visit our website and click on the "Book Now" button on the homepage. From there, you can select the type of session you're interested in and choose a date and time that works best for you. We will reach out by phone to chat more about what services you need and what to expect during your pre-planning session together. A session fee is required to confirm the day and time of your session.

Please ensure your child wears comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for physical activity (such as rock climbing). Since they will also be having a mini portrait session, we recommend bringing a second outfit or wearing something that will photograph well. This way, your child can feel confident and look great in their pictures!

Just an open mindset! We will provide all necessary materials for the workshops and activities, along with a sweet treat at the end!

EmpowerME is an event designed for girls ages 8-12 to help them build confidence, set goals, embrace a growth mindset, and foster gratitude. It includes fun activities, empowering workshops, inspiring guest speakers, and a portrait session by Avenue 9 Photography.

EmpowerME is currently open to girls aged 8-12. At this time we also accept girls up to age 14 that are in Jr High. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children younger than 8 at this time. If you're interested in a program for younger girls or older teens, please let us know—we’d love to create additional groups based on demand!

We encourage parents to drop off their tweens so they can fully engage and participate independently in the activities. The event is designed to be an empowering experience just for the girls, so we won’t typically have opportunities for parents to stay and observe during the event. Rest assured, your child will be in great hands with our experienced staff! However if you feel inclined to stay please reach out to Erin and she will be happy to accommodate and needs or answer any questions.

Yes! The entire event will be supervised by experienced coaches, workshop leaders, and volunteers who are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all attendees.
